The Minnesota Vikings kick off October festivities on Sunday, hosting the winless Miami Dolphins at U.S. Bank Stadium. Minnesota has an 84% probability of winning, per prediction markets, but as most know, the NFL is wildly unpredictable.
In any event, here are four top wagers to explore as the Vikings hope to extend their regular season winning streak to nine games.
Four MIN-MIA Bets Worth a Look on Sunday

1. Vikings to Score 28+ Points (+170)
The Vikings have reached 28 points only once this season, exploding for 39 against Green Bay before producing nine at Chicago and 23 in Tampa. The recent history explains the plus-money price. But Miami’s defense is not very spooky.
Opponents have scored touchdowns on 11 of 14 redzone trips against the Dolphins, a 78.6% rate that ranks near the bottom of the NFL. Miami surrendered 27 points to Las Vegas and 35 to San Francisco before holding Kansas City to 24 last week.
A big, miraculous passing transformation isn’t needed to reach four touchdowns. The running game has shown life, especially behind a left side that’s becoming an offensive strength. Murray also gets his friendliest defensive matchup since joining the franchise.
At +170, the bet asks whether an offense desperate for a breakthrough can finally capitalize on repeated scoring opportunities. Against this Dolphins defense, 28 points feels attainable without asking the Vikings to suddenly become the 1998 version of themselves.
2. Kyler Murray 25+ Rushing Yards (+127)
Four carries. Twenty-six yards.
That’s Murray’s rushing output through his first two Vikings appearances, which is awfully quiet for a quarterback with more than 3,200 career rushing yards. Minnesota hasn’t featured his rushing talent much yet. His four attempts have produced 6.5 yards per carry, and Miami may feature the press coverage looks that encourage him to take off.
The Dolphins have played man coverage on 48.1% of dropbacks thus far in 2026. When defensive backs turn and travel with receivers, quarterbacks with Murray’s speed can find empty grass after the pass rush clears. A couple of eight- or ten-yard scrambles can do most of the work here.
His mobility was one of the forgotten advantages of the Murray signing long before the regular season started. He also entered September as the most important Viking of 2026 because the offense depends so heavily on what he adds over last year’s quarterback play.
Murray can chalk up 25 rushing yards on a few scampers.
3. Ollie Gordon Anytime TD (+355)
Gordon’s appeal here comes from workload.
De’Von Achane’s torn ACL gutted the Dolphins’ offense. Ravaged it. After he exited against Kansas City, Gordon handled essentially all of the Dolphins’ running back work, finishing with 17 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown while catching three passes. NFL.com identified him as the likely higher-volume replacement entering Week 4.
Gordon has averaged 2.4 yards per carry so far this season. Miami could reach the rezone a few times and hand the ball to its 6-foot-2, 225-pound back near the goal line. Gordon already converted that kind of opportunity last Sunday.
Brian Flores’s defense is the obvious problem. The Vikings have spent September suffocating offenses, including a three-point suffocation of Chicago. Still, +355 is paying for role rather than matchup. If Miami scores one touchdown, Gordon has a pretty direct route to being the guy who gets it.
4. Tai Felton 20+ Receiving Yards (+156)
Felton has zero catches in 2026 and has been targeted only twice through three games. The opportunity could finally change Sunday.

Justin Jefferson was ruled out Friday, and the team hopes he can be ready for Week 5 at the New Orleans Saints. Felton is the obvious speed option sans Jefferson. He ran a 4.37-second 40-yard dash before the 2025 draft and has the straight-line acceleration to erase a 20-yard receiving prop with one catch.
There were signs during August that the second-year receiver was pushing for more offensive work. His training camp role started generating legitimate attention, and VikesNow entered the season viewing him as a player who needed to make a larger dent offensively.
This is the most speculative pick of the four. But at 20+ yards, one single play could win the bet.

The Parlay:
Bet: $100
Profit: $7,039.06
Total payout: $7,139.06

VikesNow Verdict: The Vikings’ team total and Murray’s rushing line are the strongest two plays. Gordon and Felton bring the bigger payouts, which is why putting all four together turns a $100 parlay into more than $7,000 in profit.
